"During a recent trip to tour the Normandy Beaches, my wife and I were extremely fortunate to have Ed Robinson as our guide. I was on my fourth trip to Normandy. After I had been with Ed, I realized that previously I had looked but not really seen. Ed has an encyclopedic knowledge of the many written histories of the D-Day invasion and the Normandy Campaign. Additionally, Ed has traveled to the beaches, with book in hand, to compare the written accounts with the terrain and fortifications. His analytical conclusions are insightful and truly educational. Ed knows his subject. He is enthusiastic and tireless. He is also great company. If you need a guide for your trip to France, Ed Robinson should be your choice."
Judge Bruce Monroe (ret.) "For anyone interested in the D-Day invasion or the Normandy Campaign, Ed Robinson is a superb guide. He knows the Norman countryside, including its rarely traveled back roads, and its WWII military history exceptionally well. Added to his extensive knowledge is his vibrant personality and strong energy level. This is a man in love with his work. He will give you a full day and more! In addition, his Anglo-Irish background means that English is his first language. In leading tours of my own, I have dealt with some French guides who, with English as a second language, have some difficulty when dealing with military equipment, campaigns, and idioms. In short, if you want a WWII guide in France, Ed Robinson is the one you want."

"Simply put, Ed Robinson is the best tour guide in Normandy. I have produced two documentary films and they would not have been successful without his input and knowledge of the region. Ed is the only tour guide I would trust when visiting Normandy. He is enthusiastic, willing to go the extra mile on tours and there is nobody who knows more about D-Day and the Battle of Normandy than Ed. I am more than happy to give further endorsements of Mr. Robinson and his outstanding company via my web site at www.timgraymedia.com. I truly hope that if you do plan on going to Normandy, you call Ed as soon as your trip is booked. His tours are the exception, rather than the rule. He will take you to places in Normandy other tour guides just don't have knowledge of or care to show you on your tour. Many of these stops are lost to history, yet played an important role in the Allies victory in France. Looking for the best tour in Normandy? Ed Robinson should be your choice. There is nobody better. he enjoys his job thoroughly and it shows in his tours."
